Last March, I had the wonderful opportunity to revisit one of the most beautiful countries in the world and one of its most picturesque and scenic cities, Florence.
It is not the first time I visit this traditional and exceptionally beautiful location, however I enjoy every single time. Florence is a city brimming with art and history, shown at almost every corner of the city. Its impressive architecture, the overwhelming Cathedrals, the traditional shops surrounding the Arno river, the Renaissance paintings and buildings, all intertwine to a sophisticated, historical and romantic feeling across the city. This is why I consider it a wonderful choice for weddings, even though this time I was there for a styled shoot focusing on a bridal boudoir session.
Our Leone Blu location was representative of the city’s finesse and style: an ideal location in the heart of the town that was once a 19th century palazzo. Romanticism and Italian finesse portrayed on a historical building; it felt as if we were transported to a different era. Italian and destination wedding planner Bianco Bouquet had everything planned to the very least detail. In this shoot I had the great pleasure to work once again with excellent cinematographers, Daniele and Daniele of Emotional Movie. I met them in 2013 in Marina and Axel’s wedding and ever since we have become good friends. Since then we have also shot weddings together in Pukhet and Santorini.
I am really thankful for this experience and most certainly looking forward to the next shoot in Italy!
