Dotted with elegant boutique hotels and villas on its magnificent caldera cliffs, Santorini is undoubtedly the ultimate Greek island for an intimate destination wedding. And if you are searching for one of the most photogenic Santorini wedding venues, a Dana Villas Santorini wedding will certainly fulfill all your expectations. Located in Firostefani and blending in harmony with the Cycladic architecture of the traditional settlement, Dana Villas offers stunning vistas and top-notch wedding and hospitality services. For me, as a Santorini wedding photographer, it is always a pleasure to be part of intimate celebrations on its breathtaking terrace.
Anna and Andrew fell for the allure of the island, while searching for intimate and romantic destinations to tie the knot, after their engagement in Rome, Italy. Coming from Seattle, USA, the charming couple opted for a Dana Villas Santorini wedding with their nearest and dearest.
The day started with Andrew’s preparation in a private villa in Akrotiri.
Smiling and relaxed, he was the epitome of the dapper groom in his Armani suit. The perfect match to his elegant bride, who was stunning in her Chic Nostalgia wedding dress. Prior to Anna’s preparation photos, we had scheduled a boudoir shoot, which is definitely a lovely keepsake for all brides, just before the I dos.
After the very emotional wedding ceremony, we roamed the picturesque alleys of Imerovigli village, while the guests were enjoying their cocktails with the soft piano music by Raphael Sigalas. We returned to Dana Villas just in time for sunset. The couple’s entrance was followed by their first dance with sparkling fireworks all around and enough ambient to have the magnificent views of the Aegean Sea in the background. One of the highlights of the wedding was undoubtedly the song that the bride played for her groom on the piano, as daylight was coming to an end. Anna and Andrew’s Dana Villas Santorini wedding celebration was exquisitely styled by Wedding Wish Santorini and planned by The Lavish Affairs.
