Maria & Vasilios' Erosantorini wedding was a heartwarming celebration in one of the best Santorini wedding venues

Maria & Vasilios are both Greek Americans who adore traveling to Greece almost every year and the captivating beauty of Santorini. So, when Vasilios popped the question at The Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh on a night that Maria would describe as the best of their life, the decision to get married in Greece and Santorini, in particular, was obvious.

They both have family in Greece and friends and family, who were willing to make the trip.

And the couple rewarded them with a fantastic destination wedding experience which, apart from a stunning Erosantorini wedding day, also included a hike from Fira to Oia, a welcome dinner in Oia, and a sunset yacht cruise.

True to their Greek religious heritage, the couple was pronounced husband and wife in a Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony performed by three priests, with one of them being the priest that also performed Maria's parents' wedding almost 20 years ago. Following a portrait session in Pyrgos village, the day proceeded with the Erosantorini wedding reception and al fresco dining. The elegant décor by Wedding Wish incorporated the olive branch, a symbol of victory and peace with great history deriving from ancient Greece.

Next to her dapper groom, Maria was beaming was joy in her Romy wedding dress by Anne Barge, whose clean lines and sleek contours perfectly matched the minimalism of the island's architecture.
