Having traveled from Switzerland with a company of their closest friends and family, Anais and Arthur decided to tie the knot in Santorini and I was happy to share and capture their special moments as their Santorini wedding photographer. The island was a special place for them, as that was where Arthur proposed to Anais and ever since it had a special place in their hearts.
The day started with the couple's preparation at Rocabella Hotel & Spa. The bride's dress by Made with Love Bridal was perfect for the island setting. The romantic ceremony took place at the Infinity Pool of Rocabella Santorini under a blooming arch of white florals and greenery. A cocktail party took place right after with laughter and smiles filling the air before the wedding party moved to their next venue for the day. For their wedding reception, the couple chose Laze, a brand new Santorini wedding venue by the volcanic beach of Baxedes.
Doors opened in 2019 and ever since Laze operates during the summer season on a daily basis as a pool bar and restaurant. At the same time, it is one of the best venues to organize any kind of event. Whether the entire property is booked for large-scale weddings or the Pool area only, hosting a Laze Santorini wedding promises to offer an unforgettable experience to the couple and its guests.
Anais & Arthur’s desire was to offer an essential culinary experience to their guests and Spicy Bites thoughtfully curated the wedding dinner that was mainly based on Greek flavors and recipes. Spicy Bites has also provided the event rentals; the green glasses and vintage silverware, matching the rest of the decoration, which was exceptionally designed by Wedding Wish Santorini, together with the wooden chairs and tables. Anais & Arthur's special day was a memorable celebration that exemplified what an island destination wedding is all about.
