A wedding at the One & Only the Palm Dubai promises a lavish celebration in a spectacular city
Being part of weddings in beautiful destinations around the world has always been filling me with excitement and inspiration. Negar and Shahrad’s wedding at the One & Only the Palm Dubai was an incredible opportunity to meet an amazing couple and visit once again an absolutely impressive city, well-known for the spectacular skyscrapers and opulent hotels. Surrounded by a beautiful beach, One & Only The Palm is located on the most exclusive and intimate point of the Palm Jumeirah, one of the three palm-shaped artificial islands that are genuinely architectural wonders. A modern arabesque design luxurious resort with top-notch service could not but also be an exquisite venue for a wedding day of pure elegance.
Living in the United States but having Iranian roots, Negar and Shahrad decided to host their wedding at the One & Only, as Dubai was a convenient location for their friends and relatives from Iran.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Courtyard Cloister Pavilion, an impressive outdoor area nestled amidst lavish gardens and shimmering fountains. The impeccable styling, floral decorations, and Sofre Aghd set-up were provided by The Purple Chair. After the end of the ceremony, the courtyard was transformed into a dazzling fairytale dinner setting, while the spectacular dancers prompted the party to begin.
I would like to thank Negar and Shahrad for giving me the chance to be part of their wedding at the One & Only the Palm Dubai. It was an amazing experience and I really felt as if knew the couple for so long. Having been a wedding photographer in over 15 Iranian weddings so far, I always enjoy the Persian wedding traditions, many of which are very similar to some Greek ones. I literally cannot wait to photograph the next Iranian wedding in Greece or in whatever part of the world my next destination wedding will take me.
