The story of James and Nicole starts about a year ago when they left cosmopolitan New York to take a European vacation together. During their visit in Europe, James proposed to Nicole and shortly after they were engaged. Santorini was the destination for the second half of their trip. It was their first time in Greece, and neither of them had seen anything like it before. They described it as the most beautiful place that they had been. While taking a tour of the island, James and Nicole watched as a wedding patio was prepared for an upcoming ceremony. The patio was perched on the cliffs of one of the famous Santorini wineries overlooking all of the island and the caldera. They knew that there was not a more perfect place for them to marry!
One year later, their dream came true and I had the honor to be their wedding photographer. The ceremony took place in Altavista Suites, which is located in Firostefani village and offers amazing views to the volcano and it was organised flawlessly by Kirsty from Kivotos of the Aegean Wedding Planners. As a Santorini wedding photographer, I always get inspired and admire great Cycladic architecture and make an effort to include this in my wedding photos. Nicole and James’ wedding in Altavista Suites gave me the opportunity to shoot in this wonderful venue and capture this stunning couple’s special day with my camera!
